Nagatomi Family Residence/Shukei-en

A nationally designated Important Cultural Property. In the Edo Period (1603-1868) it was one of the leading wealthy farms in the Tatsuno Domain.

Usukuchi(Light colored)Tathuno Soy Sauce Museum

The museum displays soy sauce making tools and apparatus that were used up until the early Showa Period (1926-1989), such as drainage pipes and barrels, the room used for growing fungi and also records and documents.

Kajokan/Yano Kanji Memorial Museum

The museum displays the works and materials related to the contemporary cultural figures Miki Rofu, Utsumi Nobuyuki, Yano Kanji and Miki Kiyoshi, who all came from Tatsuno.

Somen-no-Sato Ibonoito Museum

Here you can learn the history of the local tenobe (hand-stretched) somen noodles “Ibonoito” and enjoy tasting them

Murotsu Museum of Folklore

Designated as an Important Cultural Property by the prefecture. Now a museum, the building used to be a wealthy marine product wholesalers called Uoya.

Plum Museum Jinbaikan

 

The museum is located in the World Plum Park and has an exhibition room on the first floor and a café and observation room on the second floor.

Tatsuno City Museum of History and Culture

The museum exhibits materials showing the history of the Tatsuno city area and the towns along the Ibo River from ancient times to the present day.
