Alien Registration
Alien registration is the recording of personal information of aliens resident in Japan.
As a rule, registration by those over 16 must be made in person.
For those under 16, registration must be made by a relative over 16 who resides at the same address.
Registration can be made at the main office or the general branch offices.

- (Caution) When moving out from Tatsuno City, please take your alien registration card, passport and seal (if you have one) to the nearest administration office to register your new address within 14 days of moving.
- (Caution) Births, deaths acquisition of Japanese nationality etc. must also be entered into the family register.
Certificates of registered matters of alien registration are issued at the Citizens Division of the main office or at the Citizens' Welfare Division at each of the general branch offices for 300 yen each. You will need to take your alien registration card for the procedure.
